Ok so I talked to Eric quite awhile ago regarding gearing on my Raptor. He instructed me to drop down to a 12T from a stock 13T primary drive sprocket.
Since most of my riding is trails and such, not so much Fuull Throttle, I figured it would be nice to have some more Low end torque. well, I changed it out this weekend and Holy Shit did that make a difference! I know I will lose about 5mph on the top end but I think it can climb trees now. Haven't taken it to the dez yet, just ran it up and down the street but found a noticable difference. Going to Spangler this weekend, can't wait to see how it does. People on other sites call this gearing set up "The Birdwatcher". I can see why now. Thanks for info Eric.

I've been thinking of modding one of those for ages. Very cool. I wonder how it'll do in sand.....

my rappy comes stock with a 14 tooth, and the hot ticket appears to be putting a 15 tooth on. I bought the 15, but never tried it.

Puttin a bigger front sproket on will make it long legged and to fast for the technical trails. Might work for sand but sand is for sissy's. tongue.gif
